teddog: (Happy!)
Holy crap I'm going to be busy in the next few weeks.

I'm in a heavy program already. Multimedia is not for the weak. I've also have my fancy job.

And today I was assigned as crew to one of the more complex scenes in the residence's haunted hike and I've got to do a good job, since my scene is the climax. I'm not going to turn it down because I want to prove that I can do it.

(Oddly enough, and I do mean oddly, the MOST complex scene is going to have to run without crew members. The scene includes 5 actors and they can apparently run it on their own since the hardest part is the original setup at the start of the night.)

The setup I'm going to have to design is giving me a headache. Let's just say I'm glad that I was on lighting for the single camera production class last year. Luckily, I've got the rest of the crew to help me, but right now we're working on another massive rig. o_O

If you're in the area, PLEASE COME. Tickets are only $5 dollars and it goes to a worthy cause: the upkeep of my home. It would be nice to see some familiar faces, even though I'll be hiding in the bushes playing with the power supply. Watch me blow up the generator! *BOOM*

Oh... and if you come, demand the guide with the faux British accent. He rocks so hard. I was peeing my pants laughing during the read-through rehearsal. Originally he tried a fusion of a Scottish and a pirate accent, but dumped it for the British. "Bloody hell, woman, I didn't know, I forgot I had it" is a billion times better than "I didn't know, I forgot I had it".

According to my sister Jen, Colin Mochrie is joining the Red Green Show cast this season...

Okay, it's pretty clear that The Red Green Show suffers from what I'd like to call "Ken Penders Syndrome". To expand on this, Ken Penders is a writer for Sonic comics and is (in)famous for the Knuckles spinoff.

The major issue with Penders was that he created a whole Echidna culture for the Knuckles comics and than threw in so many characters that the series became top-heavy. There's so many people/animals running around that it's hard to follow. You need a map to figure out the Brotherhood.

The Red Green world is also stuffed to the rim with characters. The current habit of the show is to add at least another character each season. I believe the only season spared this was season 7.

I kinda like having all these characters around to add a background to the series, but when you need a character list to tell them all apart, something is very, very wrong.

It also sucks hard when you control the whole show in a RP universe when there's at least 60+ characters. -_-
