My compy crashed and I lost part of a fic. Grrr...

Katie, have I told you how much I love you for finding Oliver & Company mp3s? Since my cassette tape ripped years ago and the album is looooong out of print, it's the only way to get ahold of those tunes.

Speaking of which, since there are some Disney fans who hang around here, what are the proper lyrics to the song "Streets of Gold"? Is it "Watch how we do things..." or "But child we do things..."? Or is it both? I've seen official sources list it both ways and it confuses me!

And was the full version of th song ever intended to play during the movie? Most of the songs in the film run their full length, but "Streets of Gold" is shorted to what? A minute? Only the first verse plays and it ends very suddenly. I can see it being canned to keep the movie moving along, but I always felt ripped off that the second verse doesn't play. It's "Chilly Down" all over again.

My father just collapsed at work.
