Whoops again.
Jun. 23rd, 2004 01:51 amCleaning my room today I found the guide book to Sonic Advance 3. It's a shame that returned that game quite some time ago. I feel slightly bad because that game has a nasty learning curve. There's 10 pages in the manual explaining how to use and abuse the basic controls.
Hmmm... Katie got me a copy of "From The Dust Returned" from the Kenilworth Library the other day. Now I have a backlog of three books to burn through and a due date for a wacked powerpoint presentation on my head. The Powerpoint poop is for a camp presentation.
Oh yes. I'm going to a summer camp in a few weeks. Oh gosh, that was sudden. I offered to go out back in April and they said I wasn't needed. Now I'm dragged in as techie-type-person and general pain in the butt (AKA Camp Leader)
I haven't been to camp in years. I went as a standard youth camper from 1996-2001. From 1996-1998 camp was held at Bing Island and from 1999-2001 it was at Backus Woods. Now camp is held on the shores of Lake Erie.
Hopefully, that means that I won't suffer from a painful nostalga trip. Sure, it's camp, but Lisa won't be sharing the tent with me. We won't stay up all night talking about stupid crap. Louise won't across the way. We won't steal candy from her ward's camp, nor will we attack people with water-based weapons.
I'm a *real* leader now. I have to do real work, like sit on my tailbone all day. But, I probably can't do stupid stuff and get away with it. I intend to bring the water cannon. I found the gun and pack (pack still fits too!), but the hose to connect the two is missing. I don't think I can order a new one because I think the model of super soaker is discontinued.
For the record, the REAL water cannon is a Super Soaker CPS 3200. The stats can be found here. I came into ownership of it back in the summer of 2000. Probably the most choice water gun you'll ever find. The thing is my baby. ^__^ I used to own a XP super socker (I forget the exact model number) that I used as a companion gun to the 3200, but it broke back in 2001. ;__;
