The film on Off Beat Cinema tonight is Bloodlust. ::nodnod:: Yeah, THAT Bloodlust. The one that caused Crow and Tom to think that Mike was hunting them.

The opening was amusing, with Bird taking the... uh... blame for the choice of film and proclaiming it a great work of art, with Zelda explaining that it was a ripoff of "The Most Dangerous Game". The fact that the characters made that connection rocks my socks.

But the intermissions have too much focus on some local film. Such as they are, I'd like to have some more sketches that involve the characters, kinda like how it was in the past. For crying out loud, put the prof on! Have him discuss how he hunted humans on an island to research a project or something. ::huggles her OBC dvd that has lots of character stuffs::

I guess this want comes from me seeing OBC as a replacement to MST3K, even though it isn't.

Is it that she's given a huge chunk of her life to a fandom? Is it that she's a well-respected fan author and/or artist? Is it that she's known to give "favors" to fellow fans? Is it that she's just well known in fandom for no apparent reason?

Is it because she's been in a fandom long after its best before date? Is it because she'll stay up until all hours to get a glimpse of her fandom?

Is it because she has stacks upon stacks of fan crap? Or is it that she chooses to not buy anything related to a fandom in order to prove how pure she is?

Or could she just be a girl who is a fan?

(*The above statements do not relate to me in any way... except the part about staying up to all hours to watch a TV program.)

Today at dinner:

Jen: Where's my hotdog?
Me (channeling Homer Simpson): You can't own a hotdog, man. It's one of Mother Earth's creatures.
Dad: Yeah, I had to hunt it down out back. It almost jumped the back fence, but I got it.

Check out this Alpine coaster!

Last night was rough. It was like strange media overload, with Jen and I watching Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Off Beat Cinema and Prisoners of Gravity, although Jen crashed after Bill and Ted. It comes close to the Saturday night when dad and I couldn't sleep, so we watched OBC and a whole Doctor Who serial (Genesis of the Daleks, because Daleks make me happy and that was the only thing on).

Somehow, things are funnier when you're half alseep. People claim that the only way to watch MST3K is while stoned, but I beg to differ.

I got bored, so I made a listing of the PoG related parts in the X-Ville multiverse. Oh... and before my sister or someone tells me it might not be the Rick I think it is, allow me to point out the following facts:
- He has the glasses
- He has the hair
- He lives in a satellite (briefly).
- He has the wrist computer thingie.
-He has a computer friend named NanCy.

What more proof do you want? Aside from the leather jacket never being mentioned, I'm fairly certain that I know this character. ;-)

Listing cut for your sanity )
