SMALL PHOTOGRAPHY HEADS UP: Primary Foto just got a new shipment of slide film. They only have 36 shot rolls in the ISO 100/E6 process department. The film costs just a bit over 10 dollars a roll and that should be fine for the two projects in Photography with enough to spare for some of Colour Theory. They also have the RA paper. 50 sheets (the only size they had) is $22.49. The film is behind the desk (you need to ask for it) and the paper is located in the fridge by the digital photography stuff.

Since most of the people at school have heard the story about the students who split up a pack of Polymax paper in the caf and ruined the whole package, so here's a new photography urban legend:

---

A man walks into a photo store and picks up a box of Kodak Polymax B&W paper. With box in hand, he walks up to the cashier.

"Is this photo paper?" The man asks the cashier.

"It is." The cashier replies.

Happy that he has found what he wants, the man buys the box of photo paper and leaves.

A week later the man comes back to the store and is very upset.

"There's something wrong with this paper!" The man explains to the cashier.

"What's wrong with it?" asks the cashier.

"I use the paper normally, but then a little while later it turns PURPLE!"

The cashier pauses to think, but can't figure out what's wrong. "Just what are you doing with the paper?"

"I'm using it to print photos with my inkjet printer."

---

Sure, some people will say "that poor man was just confused". As confusing as photography is, it's VERY hard to mix up printer paper and Polymax paper (does anyone else notice that RC Polymax paper has a certian smell to it?). All the warnings on the package and the black plastic bag used to store the paper should have been enough to tip the person off that something was wrong. Idiot.

Which Heinlein Book Should You Have Been A Character In?
brought to you by Quizilla

::frowns:: If the Jen was here I'd share that quiz with her. She's a big Heinlein fan. It figures I got that book on the quiz, seeing one of my all-time favorite characters came from it. Go, Mycroft, go! X-D

Among other things I found on my hard drive, I found a rip of the Second Nature opening theme from Prisoners of Gravity. That amuses me so. It's pretty much a loop, so you can play it over and over and over until you want to blow your brains out.

...ah, fun.

Sorry about the fade in at the start. This was ripped from a season two episode and I believe the episode was the only complete version of the season two Second Nature opening I had. They changed the visuals slightly for season three and onward (when everything gained it's "final look"). I never understood why they edited the clip of Enrico Gruen at the end of the opening. In season two you could tell that he was looking up with a telescope (heeheehee). In the later seasons it was cropped and you couldn't tell exactly what he was doing. I thought he was bird watching with binoculars myself, as did a few others in the fandom.
