Mar. 30th, 2002 12:38 amSnowball's on the floor sleeping on a newpaper. She looks quite cute, but both her and I know that she's really just waiting for me to leave my computer chair so she can sleep somewhere high, dry and away from the dog.
I've been feeling awful all week. I tried to cheer myself up by renting 2010, one of my favorite movies. Blockbuster had a DVD of it, so I decided to give it a shot. The menus are neat in a fangirly way; the Leonov's POV of Discovery spinning out of control is the background of the main menu, with the menu itself being 4 monoliths. Sal forms the background of the scenes menu. The quality of the actual DVD sucked. It got stuck in two places on the widescreen side, thanks to another customer's thoughtful scratching. Wonderful.
I still cried at the end. I always do.
