teddogWhooo! That was a long day yesterday!
After a nasty law test, we went to Hill City and I got my copy of Planetes Volume 1 that I ordered a few weeks ago. Also picked up Planetes Volume 4 Part 2, since they had it in stock, and Chrno Crusade Volume 3. I haven't spent so much on comics in, like, forever. The pacing of Planetes manga is so different then the anime, but I likes it still.
I worked on my class projects in the labs for a while. My lame main menu scene amazes people. I don't know why.
And when I got home I found roomie Manders and Amanda sitting in the dorm room. THAT was a surprise. Amanda doesn't usually get off work until late on Fridays. Apparently there was no work at work, so she came over to visit.
So, we all went out and did some grocery shopping, because we needed to. Manders tried to test drive a Swifter Sweeper. Then came home to watch dubbed anime on YTV. I swear on my life this line came up on Witch Hunter Robin:
"Give this man some morphine!"
Morphine is a MASSIVE inside joke in our RP group. Amanda and I were laughing so hard. Amanda attempted to explain that afterwards, but with little luck.
Anne came over to the dorm room after and we watched Bleach 1, 2 (to catch her up) 19 (the sub was just released) and Fullmetal Alchemist 37 (military filler!). By the time that was over, it was checkout time in the dorm and Amanda had to leave. Oh well.
