Jun. 10th, 2002 12:26 pmI picked up Vapor Trails on the way home for lunch. It was $15.99 before tax. After tax isn't worth talking about. @_@
Anywho... the album is worth it just for the song Ceiling Unlimited. So, go buy. Now! Just don't stay too long in the mall. Malls are slightly evil places. I prefer open air markets or something along the lines of cross between downtown Ottawa and SoHo. Queen Street West? ::shrug::
Ever been to a mall during the lunch hour? It's a very weird place. Lots of open people shopping. Not even buying, just looking at the stuff. I saw an old lady looking through the hard rock section of Sunrise. There was a long line up to get lotto tickets. I don't play, so it meant nothing to me. I was tempted to go to Zellers and play with the toys, but I didn't. I got strange looks the other day from the workers at Sears when I took my brother to look at the toys. Mom was exchanging Jen's shoes in the **cough** underwear section, so I went to the toys. I remember going to the toy sections of Eatons when I was little, back when Eatons existed. Sherway Gardens' Eatons store had a huge toy section
That reminds me of Today's Special. Now that was a kid's show. Go TVO! Whoo! I went to the store that parts of the show were filmed in with Louise last summer. It used to be a Simpsons store, but it's now a Bay. Some of the store has been remodeled since Today's Special and the toy department on the show was only a set, not the real thing, but the feeling is still there. And yes, we played with the toys...
