I used to think said lens was a telescope until actually got to use a massive lens like that. You don't fully realize how freaking big the thing is until you actually use it. With massive lenses, the lens attaches to the tripod, not the camera.

Oh, the main opening is great! "Thank God for seatbelts!" *snickers*

Though I suppose half the fun was inserting sound effects (glass crunching, mad scientist laughter, keyboard clacking, ect.) when necessary.

I love that main opening. The music/background sound provides sound effects on the show... but I don't have a clean copy uploaded yet to share. All I have is a version where Rick narrates it (http://www.teddog.com/pog/audio/mythsopening.mp3). Anywho, the opening makes writing Rick easy 'cause it explains his whole backstory and personality. IE, the guy only became stable after being on the satellite for a while and I'll blame Nance for that change in his personality.

The opening does leave more questions than answers for what happened between the opening comic and the main part of the series. For example, the computer Rick finds at the end of the intro is clearly NOT Nan-Cy (it's too big and talks in a male voice). Nance came later.
