I really wish I was on the road again...

Blah. Any wanderlust I have is about to go bye-bye on Friday, since I'm going to travelling all over. The last things I need to do is gather my homework (essay and lesson plan due on Tuesday), my meds and figure out what PoG tapes I'll need to copy.

On that topic: 'Hacker, I'm just bringing two tapes. I am taking the tape with the Mars episode and the other one. I'll probably give you "Fans" and "Science & Technology", just 'cause they're cool and fairly character oriented. "Science & Technology" is also great because the opening explains the whole series fairly clearly and quickly. And that leaves another half-hour to fill. Maybe I'll just pick another one that doesn't suck at random.

And no, I still haven't gotten the Portal episodes yet.

On Friday I taking the plane from Thunder Bay airport to Pearson airport, then a car from Pearson to Toronto so that we can pick up Katie and then catch the train from Union Station to Burlington, where I'll be picked up again and some how end up on Hamilton.

My flight leaves at 3:25pm, so I'll probably get in somewheres between 1:30pm and 2pm. That seems like a long wait, but for me it's not. I like just hanging around, playing pinball, watching the planes and reading. It's quiet time I rarely get while at college. I should reach Pearson by 5. Because that's a nasty time to be on the highway, I stuck travelling via GO train. Katiers said that if we go in the early evening (6-7ish), we'll miss the bulk of the rush hour traffic.

The HUGE downside to this is that I'll have to travel insanily light. I've got a small duffle bag with just enough clothes to get by and it's light enough to haul tail in downtown Toronto. When travelling I usually do the whole layers thing, but now I'm stuck trying to save wieght.

I believe I will have to eat some of value on Friday afternoon. I usually try to travel with as little in my system as possible. I rarely get motion-sick, but I find that the lack of food makes me more alert. Because my misadventure is going to be over such a long span of time, however, I'll have to grab something somewhere. Those caf still makes those noodle wraps? I love those things! Airport food doesn't really appeal too much to me.

I also found some amazing Ontario Place related thingies that I needed. I have a blueprint/layout drawing of everything in the park except the most southern tip of the East Island and the ship walkway. I also managed to score this really cool wallpaper of the western pods. It's so... flat. Most pictures of the pods try to show the depth and size of the buildings, but this is dead on and flat looking, but it works in an artistic scene.

Thanks. I intend not to get lost... but this is me and my sister we're talking about. I've got good sense of direction and she has poor, so we cancel each other out and result in two average people.
