Today was the SUCKTH.
Dean-a-rooni... yeah, this is what I call him now, cause that's what Frank calls Forrester... sorta. I swear he calls him "Steve-a-rooni" at some point. Maybe in a fic? Anyways, Dead decided to pop a test on us today. Now, I heard it was a pratical test done in LAB, not LECTURE. In other words, I was pissed. Since Dean and I have been on good terms because of the interest in media theories thing, I think I scared him.
I've been scaring people a lot lately. After everything that happened, I can have an amazing short temper and since today was a "bad day" (the type when you just want to hide in bed all day), one thing leads to another. I don't like to think that my current messed up mental state is the cause of worrying for the higher-ups, although Kevin, Dean, Rob and Dorris (from Sibley Hall) do track me and check in once a week or so.
Despite not studying for the test, I ended up only missing three points. I had to BS the questions on Author Systems and forgot the Free Transform tool. The rest was simple trivia. During the marking a few people got burned for mixing Adobe and Macromedia terms (pallets vrs panels). And then I got back to the dorm, only to have to turn around and run off to a long tech crew meeting. Yeah, it's fun to be on crew, but annoying to only have a total of four members show up. Tom wants a massive rig built for next Thursday. There goes my free time, BUT YOU CANNOT TAKE THIS FRIDAY NIGHT FROM ME! I can't program a VCR with my lack of any remote controller. ;_;
Otherwise, I really don't have that much to do in my free time. I've been thinking about a couple of odd things, like:
Why does the music from Sonic Adventure remind me so much of Mystery Science Theater 3000? The Lost World tracks ("Tricky Maze", "Leading Lights") and Tails's theme remind me of the show the most, but I still think that It's odd that it's not the music from Sonic Adventure 2 that reminds me of MST3K. I mean, SA2's plot was science fiction. SA's was more fantasy based with a little sci-fi thrown in.
Basically, Sonic Adventure's soundtrack could very well double as a soundtrack to "3000: A Space Oddity", 'cause who hates that fic?
I also did some plot pondering with AIs, namely my AI characters (fan and otherwise). I'm trying to figure out exactly what a computer-based character would "see", both dealing with its inner world and the outer world. I'd believe that it would vary depending on how the AI came into being, who or what imprinted on it early in life and other factors. *nodnod* I is offically obsessed right now. Blame it on the people who showed me the first part of Sentou Yousei Yukikaze about a week ago. :B
