You want to replace the ever-so-slight cheese content in processed cheese food with processed b-movies (which is also a form of processed cheese, but let's not get that deep into it). By forcing the subjects to consume the product, you're hoping to reexamine Dr. Clayton Forrester's theory on b-movies. Your hypothesis is that to get the proper reaction, subject must not just view the b-movies, but must consume the movies internally. This is all part of your EVIL plan to RULE THE WORLD or, at the very least, make Joike publicly acceptable in the general MST3K fan community.

I think that Joike, or for that matter mst3k slash, isn't accepted by the mst3k community at large because they don't know that it even exists. Only if you go looking for such material do you find it.
Then again, I don't think the mst3k coummunity at large even know that mst3k fanfiction exists, msting or prose. Unless they read fanfiction, then they know what msting is probably.

MiSTings are pretty well known in the online fandom, but the view on fan fiction in general tends to be very low in most corners of the MST3K fandom (as with most fandoms). My opinion in short: If you write fan fic, you have too much free time and could be doing better things. If you're complaining about fan fic, you have too much free time and could be doing better things. :-D
