teddogI managed to track down Lisa's mom today at church. Since she was one of the four to visit the home of the Awful Waffle (along with her husband and my parents), I asked her about it because I could find no info online.
The name of the place wasn't Awful Waffle - It was Waffle King. Or, rather R Waffle King now due to some legal reason. It's in Altoona.
And I found a picture online!
I feel enlightened. Now I want to visit. Lisa went there in the late 90s and according to info online, the place still exists.
