teddogI went to the bookstore today. I should be banned from such places. They do no good to myself or my bank account.
If the upcoming release of the movie "I, Robot", Coles is really pushing the Asimov books hard. There is a reprint of the short story collection "I, Robot" released just in time for the film. With Will Smith on the cover! GAAAAAH! BURN IT! It's no surprise that Asimov's novels "Caves of Steel" and "The Naked Sun" are in the spotlight at the book store, since those novels are more closely related to the movie than I, Robot is, being crime novels with robots and all. ^_^
I'm still tempted to see "I, Robot" to discover how bad it is. I wouldn't mind seeing a movie version of "Caves of Steel" or "The Naked Sun". They aren't the best novels in the world, but are enjoyable enough. BUT why call it "I, Robot" when it's not "I, Robot"?
I finally bought "The Salmon of Doubt" today. I plan on reading it after I finish "Caves of Steel".
Thank you Katie for giving me a Roast Tentacle on Neopets to replace Gruen for the time being. All my petpets vanished last night. I hope it's a glitch and they come back. Otherwise, I THINK I have enough cash to replace most of them. Fel's Bearog, Triway, was unattached at the time, because I was working on a petpet related avatar and is the only one to make it through the glitch. This is what I'm currently missing:
Green Tentacle and its Mootix (Gruen and Rick) - worth 200000 points and 450000 points
Robot Warf (Warf Factor Nine) - 40000 points
Gruslen (Gruff) - 50000 points
Snowbunny (unnamed) - 9500 points
Phish (Abacab) - 6000 points
Tanizard (Snozzle) - 25000 points
Meekins (Nummy Muffin Coocol Butter) - 5000 points
Yellow Doglefox (Syd) - 50000 points
Wadjet (Surge) - 1300 points
The total comes out to 836800, which I'm about 40000 away from.
