I don't know if I should laugh or cry about this. Probably laugh. I find trailers like that amusing, but depressing. It's a sad side of media I don't care for.

Did the dental thing today. Wisdom teeth need to go bye-bye. This is going to be fun.

Am I the only person that feels strange after getting an x-ray done? I hate x-rays, especially when it's not in a hospital setting. If I'm in a hospital, it's no problem. I've gotten piles of chest x-rays done in hospitals because of my breathing troubles. But, to have them taken in an office or clinic spooks the crap outta me. The fight or flight instinct kicks in and I have focus so that I don't suddenly bolt out of the office.

The X-Ray thing makes sense, the techs are bolting in the oppisite direction too.

The teeth will probably be okay. Personaly, my teeth extraxtions have been a breeze, but mine had already erupted. My sister's wisdom teeth extraxtion was a horror story. They had to dig around in her jaw, she couldn't eat anything harder than marshed potatos for a few days, and ended up with dry socket in one or two sockets.

She has chroinic bad luck though, so yours probably won't so bad. = )

Yes... I know enough about X-rays from Physics class to know not to like them. When the techs run away I keep thinking "Get back here! Don't make me come over there!" I'm starting to think that the lead vest isn't to protect the patient from the X-rays, but to weight the patient down so they can't run away as fast.

I've got to get all four wisdom teeth take out at once. The two on the bottom have erupted, but the two on the top haven't. I'm mostly worried about dry sockets and the local anesthesia. I've had a history of problems with local anesthesia, mostly because certian areas for my mouth will resist freezing. I'm planning to tell the doctors to completely knock me out for the surgey.
