Heh... I skipped outta Kevin's programming lecture because I didn't feel like going (like Kev takes attendance on Mondays anyway) and decided to leave Rob's class early.

I dunno why. I tried to add to my food card, but the office was closed for Easter Monday (...right) and in turn for some reason, I just got the wanderlust BAD.

I was bored, grumpy, my leg was acting up and I just wanted to leave the school. So I did.

(Note: for those who don't know, when I was a kid I managed to rip open my left leg and caused some permanent damage inside. 11 or so years later, I still get pains down there from time to time, almost like the side of my knee wants to rip open. If I go out and exercise, the pain goes away. You explain that to me ::shrugs::.)

And thus was the start of Rachelle's afternoon adventures.

I didn't even bother going back to res. I just walked out of the school and headed to Intercity, stopping on the way to withdraw some money at the CIBC.

First stop: HMV.

I found my copy of Duke by Genesis last night and was heartbroken to discover that it had gained the quality of a coaster. NO! Duke is my most favorite album ever! That copy was bought back in 2000 in Times Square. It was the first Genesis album I ever bought (not my first to own, though) and it hurt not being able to play the songs without skipping. So, Rachie needed a new copy or at least needed to price the disk. Went to HMV and found it for $10.95. SOLD!

Who says people don't buy music anymore.

Next stop: Walmart.

I don't like Walmart much. It has it's uses, but I find the place really creepy. Maybe it's because of my past with inventory. Anyway, I bought some shampoo and got out.

Next: Primary Foto Source.

I needed some film for my client photo shoot on Thursday. I wanted to pick up a cheap 24 roll of 100 speed Fuji film. I'm not really picky as to Fuji versus Kodak, but a roll of Fuji is several dollars cheaper and is a shorter roll. But no, they were sold out of Fuji so I needed to buy a 36 roll of Kodak. I better have a use for those 12 shots.

And they STILL don't have any slide mounts. -_-

So, seeing that I did enough damage to the local area, I decided to go up to Port Arthur to cause havoc. As soon as I get over to Marnia Park, I get tackled by two people from down the hall at res. So much for spending time on my own.

Turns out they got bored of class and wandered uptown too, so we walked around the park. I met a nice lady who let me take some pictures of her hyperactive dog for Colour Theory and we talked about the Multimedia program while her doggie licked my borrowed camera. =D

After that we wandered down to the abanoned waterfront by the park and ate dinner at McDonalds. I normally don't care for McDonalds, but I hadn't eaten there since Spring Break and had no money on my food card, I figured I might as well. Their veggie burgers are okay.

(Another note: I do eat meat, it's just that I don't care for McDonalds beef burgers or fries and can't eat chicken because of a food allergy. What else is there to eat there?)

And that we priced the lazer tag over at Ron's Virtual World (I gotta try that some day) and tried to get access to a church. Don't ask, but we weren't up to any good. Quick! Someone hurt down the crazy mormon and her two atheist friends before they reveal the secret to Cadbury's Caramilk bars! Blah.

Then I bought my mounting board and scooted off back to res.

The End.
