There's a few more pics, mostly of signs and crap. There's one sign explaining the history of the second station, including the dates of closure and removal.

No thoughts, except that the backyard of that house is much nicer than the satellite would suggest. But those may be years old, on Google-Earth.

Cool! I've never been to Mimico, don't know much about it, but the pics you took were really cool. :D Looks like a pretty nice place.

It's quaint. I lived a car ride away from here in the early 1980s and it's a bit more run down that it used to be. But, I haven't been down there since 1991 or something, so I could just be misremembering.

What's freaky is there's still a BI-WAY down there. Mimico is so the area time forgot. That said, I can't imagine living there despite all of the apartment buildings along the lake as it's more suited to car owners. I saw just one grocery store on the way over. There's also not many interesting places to go out and eat. :P

I went to bed, but then I woke up again because my apartment was muggy.

I don't think that the pics on Google-Earth are super old. They do look like they where taken in winter/early spring and everything looks really brown.
