May. 19th, 2008 11:34 pmMan, you do not want to know how much Mystery Science Theater I watched this weekend.
...
I think I can cram ONE more episode it. ::puts on Santa Claus:: I need CUTE NIGHTMARE FUEL! CUUUUUUUUUUTE!
Off the top of my head, I watched:
Lost Continent - ROCK CLIMBING! Um, I don't remember that much else from this, other than the Cool Thing skit being cute.
City Limits - Warrior of the Lost World was better, but this had James Earl Jones in it. I liked Joel's attempt at covering up the nudity. It's one of those odd little physical comedy jokes that are fairly rare in the show on a whole.
The Sword and the Dragon - People are right. This episode has a strangely epic quality to it. The skits are really good in here, with a Ingmar Bergman-theme skit mid-movie and the Mads attempting to impress the girls from Deep 12.
Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell - Season seven is strange. Pearl really annoys me, but I didn't realize that the last skit was a play on Hitchcock. There's some surprisingly twisted riffs in here.
The Deadly Bees - Okay episode. Not really anything of note. It reminds me of Werewolf in that it gets really strange in the movie's closing credits.
Danger: Diabolik - Yeah, I finished it. Liked the final skit. Painful, but I think that I'm comfortable with how the show ended.
