Okay, TODAY I'm going hunting for a face cleanser with harsh chemicals. This is getting STUPID. I'm looking for ANY hints/tips/suggestions on how to deal with breakouts.
However, it's a darn nice day outside, so me thinks I'm going to take a nice long walk to the Loblaws right before the valley and get some ice cream on the way. Maybe they have Tim Tams. One can hope...
Kate placed an order into the infamous Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and asked me if I wanted in. I know that some people have this whole signature scent thing going on, but I really can't find a common scent that sticks (most of them have a heavy alcohol content and that's all I smell) and I'm happy with and while I like some of Lush's scents in the general product lines, I can't find one in their solid line that I like - American Cream and the like make me want to hurl and the only one I do like, Go Green, isn't that interesting.
Normally I'm kinda "Uh... okay" on BPAL. I have a bottle of Numb that I use (I don't smell formaldehyde in it o_O), but that's about it. Imagine my surprise that they now have a STEAMPUNK scent line. So, of course, I need to try that and see what they imagine metal to smell like.
Anywho, in Kate's order, I ordered a round of little sized bottles of the following
- Phoenix Steamworks ("Burnished gold and oiled bronze notes with Abramelin incense and sage.")
- The Coil ("Ozone, eucalyptus and mint with purple orchid, passionflower, white ginger, and purple lotus.")
- Lightning ("Ozone, marine notes, and a drop of sharp rain")
- Schrödinger's Cat ("Tangerine, sugared lime, pink grapefruit, oakmoss, lavender, zdravetz, and chocolate peppermint") - I see this one being in the extremes of good or bad.
- Ultraviolet ("Violet and neroli spiked hard with eucalyptus and sliver of mint")
- Crossroads ("Blooms over dry earth and mosses, heavily laden with incense and offertory herbs")
Yeah, I find that the descriptions are over the top and pretentious. Same with the reviews - some of the fans of this stuff are INSANE. That said, I'm stupidly curious if I can find stinky stuff that suits my nose.
WoW Stuff:
I got Enrico-the-shadow-priest to level 70, but the gear is not there for raiding yet, unless I can talk my guild into letting me bring him into the first half of Kara tonight. HA! So not going to happen. He has his full shadowweave set now, so at least he looks fashionable. 6_9
