The ticker I have finally has finally gone down to "0 days"

Okay, so I have seen the Frantics live, a Red Green Show taping, met Rick Green and now I'm seeing a Genesis concert. Back in high school, these were on a list of "Things Rach Wants to See, But Are Never Going to Happen Mostly Because She Was Born Too Late". Now, barring Mystery Science Theater 3000 airing on Space, I seriously need some new "geeky" life goals. PoG on DVD? I'm thinking of rolling that high.

It also hits home because the music video for Throwing It All Away features footage of the band performing at Exhibition Stadium. Heck, you can see an old Exhibition Stadium sign at one point. While I'll never get to see them play Exhibition (it was demo'ed in 1999), I am going to be seeing them at BMO Field. It's on the site of the old Stadium (if it was the mistake by the lake, why did they rebuild it? Ah, TORONTO!) and that's close enough for me.

I'm going to be broke tonight. Yes, it's a major cash cow, but I'm going to enjoy it for what it is. The set list looks decent - my mom is coming, of all people, and I was a bit worried that she might fine some of the older tracks a little overwhelming. I mean, some of the lyrics on The Lamb feel like a drug trip if you aren't following the plot (and then, sometimes even if you are). Add to this that my mother is a fan of Phil's lighter material and gets disturbed by such non-message media as t-shirts at Hot Topic. I'm just glad I don't have to defuse Supper's Ready. My word, she used to by a Moody Blues fan, so I shouldn't be too worried, but she never did like Nights in White Satin.

OMFG POPUP BOOK. I've seen the stage aready - you can see it from the train line and the Gardner. They've been building it since last Friday. I'll kinda miss not seeing it, because it's pretty cool looking.
