Dear weather: please to be improving soon. I love how there's massive storm warnings in every area BUT ours.

Our internet connection is in the crapper this morning. At some point yesterday afternoon, our phone connection started getting progressively worse. It's right now at the point were we have high and low points with the internet connection, but the phone pretty much a loss. There's too much static.

We're trying to check on if Katie's classes are cancelled, but the college website is either down or extremely slow loading. Wait, there is goes. Apparently, they're still open, but you don't want to journey out in that crap. If the college server is overtaxed...

Now, I had made RP plans for tonight on AIM and a planned Scarlet Monastery/Arathi Basin run on WoW tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I can keep those promises. I know these plans were made up to a week in advance, but how were we to know that is would be slated to become a nasty ice storm tonight? ::huddles under a blanket::

So, if anyone is looking for me or moonygirl online, especially slwatson, krwalker or Mrs mbehemoth, that's the current status. I'm so sorry, everyone.

And to think I wanted to get some Christmas shopping done this morning.

Edit: If you have cable and the CBC tonight (and I hope we will), my youngest sister is appearing as an extra on tonight's episode of the Royal Canadian Air Farce. She's in a PSA parody on college drinking. I don't know if it'll be in the final edit, but there was footage filmed of her beating up a sleazy onscreen-boyfriend.

You RP on AIM? Wow, I want in on that action. Too bad I'm still doing school work.

Just got off WoW with the 2.1 patch. Not much for a rogue. Nice to have the extra 5 quest slots. Interesting new UI for parties and a whole crazy new rank thingy. Hmmmm.... Need to start grinding to catch up.

I heard that rogues got the short end of the stick.

The patch shuffled all the hunter talents around and I tried to rebuild my last talent build with the new talents. I might have powered up my shots too much or I'm not used to the increased DPS, since I can pull aggro off of Otto easily if I'm not careful.

Oh, and pet scaling is awesome. Otto's armour is 4700.

Ya, its seems pretty boring to be Rogue now a days. I think I'll start a Shaman when the expansion goes live.

And now we have a tank!

Are you getting the expansion? I haven't decided myself, since I'm not at lvl 60 and Blood Elves and Jewelcrafting don't really interest me. Draenei are cool, though.

The big draw for me is going to be the new dungeons. Karazhan and the Caverns of Time? Those sound so cool.
