Can I have a Confirm/Deny/"What the Heck?" on the following comment from Wikipedia?

"Rick's signature chair was destroyed by his Son, and a friend of his, because he said they could."

This one is new to me, but the bad grammar in the claim sets off some warning bells. The only rumours I heard about where things went are that Rick Green ended up with Reality 1 in his basement, the opening art was split up and that filmed interviews for the CD-ROM exist, but might be AWOL.

It's nothing I've ever heard.

News to me. And it's one of those things that seems pretty dubious all things considered.

It strikes me as very odd too, given how the info was posted with no fine details.

Mark Askwith might know the story behind it, but it's a really trival thing to bug him about, unless it's part something bigger, like "10 Random PoG Questions Only Mark Askwith Can Answer".

Same. I know I haven't "heard it all", but it's very much out of left field.
