There's really not that much to ship in Labyrinth other than Jareth/Sarah. I could see Jareth/Jareth. The muppets... it feels wrong to pair them. Plus, if you believe the whole "it's about Sarah growing up sexually!" theory, the muppets were to show that she could have close, trustworth male friends that were just that - friends.
I thought it was "Jareth in tights" that made everyone happy.
