teddogBut we had a pack of them from around New York City that were the rudest pack of disgusting, loud-mouthed, wannabe smart asses I've ever seen.
I've never before been wistness to spoiled brats that feel they're entitled to EVERYTHING they're little rotten hearts desire. Neither did I believe that they Talking to Americans skit had any truth in it.
My word...
Okay, the worst was that these American kids believed that Canada was so technologically behind that we didn't have subways. Because, you see, only Americans are special enough to have subways. Don't ask me why they thought that. They had been in Toronto for a while on their little school trip, and they totally failed to miss that the subway uses a big bridge to cross the Don Valley. You usually see that on the way into the Science Centre.
They were also confused that it was just as warm in Toronto as it was back home.
These kids decided that it was their given right to try to destroy anything on the floor and to insult things which they felt were "gay". That isn't exactly fun when your temp exhibit deals with some slighly progressive ideas, like men wearing skirts. Since, you know, kilts didn't exist.
That was some very scary stuff to see, the result of a very guarded upbringing mixed with "We're a better country, therefore we can stomp anything we want here."
Ugh.
