Oct. 19th, 2005 11:17 pmIn case you haven't heard, the TTC is planning on sending a streetcar order to Thunder Bay. This are the rumoured "low-floor light rail" cars. Think of a cross between a low rider bus and a streetcar and you're half way there.
It's getting super cold outside! Practice was so rough tonight; it was 4°C outside and a lot of us were wearing spring coats. It's going to bite running around in costume, since the low is going to be floating around freezing with no signs of improving. A bunch of us are planning to run out together and invest in some long johns, because there's no other way we'll be able to handle it for preformance; a lot of us girls are running around in dresses and skirts. Global warming be darned, I swear it wasn't this cold last year.
The lyrics for the song are still being messed up, although I can no longer be blamed for it. I know my stuff and now I'm lead backup singer. Sorta. My job is to sing really loud and give the other performers something to hold onto.
Oh. And I'm now on the "pie run" team, which means I'm one of the dorks who wanders over to Tim Hortons in a large pack. And oddly enough, don't actually buy pie. Got offered to act in Follies 2005, too. Yeah, Follies is teh lame in many respects, but it was invite only this year for cast and I got picked for the comedy end. So, go me or something. I can act insane and whatnot on stage.
