Me thinks it was the best of times AND the worst of times. At least now, it be BLAH.

GOOD things:
- Picked up a starter deck for the Fullmetal Alchemist trading card game. It seems fun and I'm working now on figuring out how to plan the darn thing.

- People are using our Multimedia Lounge that we built.

- My Red Green fanlisting is finally approved.

BAD things:
- OMGWTF happened to Book Television? They changed the look and feel of everything... and no more PRISONERS OF GRAVITY! WHHAAAA! Me sad.

- On the topic of PoG fandom, one of the well-known PoG fans on the Space boards was, in fact, the man in Toronto who recently shot his girlfriend in the face and then blew his own brains out on Tuesday. Not to mention names but... *coughs*. This is a BIG WTF for me, because the fandom tends to be small and very disjointed. You don't know many fans, but the ones you do come across as pretty nice, if slightly dorky, people and you rarly see the stereotypical "stuck up" fans or general assholes. To be totally honest, I didn't know him personally, but he was around when I was a big Spacecast lurker, which was... 2000? 2001? His fandom claim to fame was having the whole series on VHS.

Okay, it's not uber depressing, but it's enough to make my attitude go down for the evening. v_v

Thankfully his girlfriend lived. It just ticks me off that someone in one of my fandom, let alone a fairly Big Name Fan over on Spacecast, turns around and does something so mind blowingly STUPID as to use a weapon aganist an unarmed fellow human being.

Thus the WTF.
