Reactions to reactors
Sep. 5th, 2002 02:04 pmTrying to get on campus with a car is like trying to cross the American border. They stop everyone at the gate and Q&A them. Appartently it has something to do with the nuclear reactor on campus.
Anyway, the buses can come in and out very easily, but cars can't. The lineup of cars waiting to get on campus this morning almost reached King Street. I was stuck the bus for almost a half hour in line watching the cars getting stopped by the guard booths. Interesting cars, though. A large number of them were from out of province and one student was driving a Lexus. What kind of student can afford that?
It's not even a big reactor, but ever since 9-11 people have been skidish. I don't see why anyone should be uptight about it.
Mmmm... Babybel cheese is good. Take a lookie at the new personal pic. I used the same gradient as the last one.
