teddogThere is a real land of the midnight sun. I should know - I live in it. Okay, so it's not the true land as such, but once daylight saving kicks in, strange things happen here.
I'm too used to daylight times down in southern Ontario. The sun would set around 9 in the summer, 5:30 in the winter and would rise around 8 in the winter and before I woke up in the summer.
Well... it's almost 8 and the sun hasn't set yet. The sky is still bright blue.
Freakish.
It's also been ultra-warm. All the snow in front of my window is gone. We've gone from -50 to +11 in 2 months. I'm ready to set up a lawn chair and pull out some comics.
Speaking of which: Fullmetal Alchemist 1 and Planetes 2 are going to be mine soon. I'll need to scoop up the latest issue of Sonic sometime as well. Issue 146 was a MASSIVE letdown because the AI story I was waiting for (In which Nicole and Sally swapped for a day) stunk... and 147 doesn't look that much better, but I needs my fluff.
