teddog: (CYOA - PEW PEW ROBOT DISCO)
My apartment is small, so I need to clean out what I'm never going to read or watch again. :P This stuff is just taking up space, so I want to unload it to people who want it, before I sell it off to a used bookstore. That's assuming that the store will take it.

Anime
Tenchi Muyo, Volume 1 - Science fiction/harem OVA series that dates back to 1992. Currently out of print. It was okay, but I never really got into it. Includes 4 episodes. - Claimed!

Cowboy Bebop, Remix Volume 1 - Science fiction/action series with a jazz soundtrack from 1998. The "Remix" refers to the 5.1 remixed audio. Enjoyable series, but it's now released as a combined collection and I'd rather grab that instead. Includes 5 episodes. - Claimed!

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Platinum Volume 3 - Science fiction/mecha/musings on religion on crack. I think that the context that the show was created in is more interesting than the show itself. Includes 4 episodes.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Along Complex, Volume 1 - Science fiction/crime series, mostly cyberpunkish if you're into that sort of thing. This is the special edition that included two discs - one with Dolby Digital audio and the other with DTS.

Manga
Read or Die, volumes 1 and 2 - Kinda related to the OVA, kinda not. Actually not that good, but interesting for a laugh. Like the anime, you can't take this as a serious work, but unlike the anime, it's not packed full of extremely nerdy lit references (the main reason to watch it, in my opinion). - Claimed!

Scrapped Princess, volumes 1 through 3 - BWHAHAHAH. This kinda SUCKED. I might sell it. The artist begs for forgiveness in the last volume! It's supposed to be the side adventures of the main cast, but isn't that exciting. It also doesn't use the strange magic used in the novels ("Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."), which was the most appealing thing for me.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Angelic Days, volume 1 - This is what happens when you take NGE, remove the drama and a lot of the danger and recast it as a romantic comedy. If you've seen all of NGE, do you remember the alternate reality? It's more or less set in that.

So, if anyone wants these? PLEASE TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME!

(Also, I will be getting an extra copy of When They Cry volume 1, which is a very, very good series, but I can't tell you when I'm going to have that. I'm buying a starter set for the box. o_O)
