FLINTLOCKE!
Oct. 13th, 2008 02:02 amI've been reading this for a while, but Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth is back. Kinda.
Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth was a WoW-themed comic that can be taken as a general parody of the fantasy genre, Warcraft canon on a whole and MMOs. It followed a mismatched group of adventurers - a idiotic warrior, a hippie hunter, an incompetent priest, a know-it-all mage and... whatever the botter was - who went off on random adventures until they were enlisted to find the biggest bomb in the world. All the while, they went about causing chaos and diplomatic tensions until they blew up their capital city.
And there the original comic ended. It's been republished here and is fun to burn a couple of hours:

Well, a spinoff has started up Flintlocke vs the Horde:

Wherein our main cast right now includes a role playing hunter, his pet rabbit, a stoner shaman, an over-analytical priest and a warlock who may or may not be female. No real plot so far, other than the main character's father was killed off from the cast of the first series.
