Heck, I found the third volume of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, a disc that I never expected to see because it was released RIGHT before Geneon pulled out of North America. And, uh, yeah I did break down and bought the sucker (it was only $12 over at the Silver Snail) and grabbed volume one for almost as cheap, so now I need volume two of a series that may NEVER see a license rescue and a complete release due to content. Think X-Files crossed with Groundhog Day, with more violence and the main characters being kids. Well, kinda.
Also, the series with the GREATEST ending theme ever. Not because of content, but the ending is in English and comes out with some strange results.
I WANT TO BE RIVER IN LIFE. I can't be the only one that hears it like that. The floaty text bits are from the Next Episode previews. It's something from the original source material that I wasn't expecting to be adapting, a series of poems that hint at the scale of the main plot.
It's really a shame, since it's a great series but the content turns people off for clear reasons.
