Estal is my new good luck charm.

Anyway, that's a very awesome looking set of gear and the silly thing is that it's a recolour of the Wildheart Raiment, which Lisa wanted for Estal anyway. Fel's gear looks like crap compared to that! A piece here, a piece there... ah well. If I RP her, it fits with her personality.

Great Old Hillsbrad run tonight, though. PUGed with Estal, a 70 holy paladin, a 66 protection paladin and a 69 rogue, and a first time run for Estal and the rogue. The rogue I kinda had to let in, because I've felt indebt to her guild master after a really sucky Sethekk Halls run (he was a great guy, though and helped pay for my repairs). A few problems with the start, due to a pet bug, getting used to the group and a VERY strange accidental pull in front of the main building. The boss fights were messy, but we expected that. Lieutenant Drake has a mass fear, Captain Skarloc is a paladin with priest and warrior sidekicks and the Epoch Hunter is a fairly long fight and draining fight.

Buuuut it's all done. The gear that dropped was exactly what everyone wanted - the tank got a new piece of chest armour and the healer and Estal got new shoulders. I can't really explain how good it feels to meet up with three complete strangers, have what everyone wants drop and have everyone go home happy. It's just.... great!

I think I'm getting better at the instances. My trapping is a lot more spot on, I'm a lot better with my feigns, and Otto can off-tank with a healer's help. Kiting is still something I'm lacking, but that's a practice thing.

I also have new doodles to scan, but that'll have to wait for tomorrow.

Character Meme

Alright. Kate admitted to her vice. My turn is up. World of Warcraft themed...

So you have your favourite character, know everything about them lore wise and can probably quote every line they have ever spoken. All your friends know this is your favourite character. However what about the character that you adore that no one knows about? You know the one that your too embrassed to admit you like? Yeah that one.

I think it's clear to at least my sister that I like Medivh, but I'm often embarrassed to mention that because Medivh went crazy and tried to kill all of humanity at one point. -_- I liked him for the person he was AFTER the whole "possessed by an evil Demonlord" deal. I'd like to think that he still exists in the Warcraft world or at least will return eventually, even though the end of Reign of Chaos makes this seem unlikely.

As for the one I never talk about, it's Farseer Nobundo. This is mostly because he's the main reason that the Alliance has shaman now and many people complain this is a forced change. In the face of this, I still like Nobundo's backstory.

I also think that Jaina Proudmoore and Taretha Foxton kick major butt, despite what happened to Taretha. :(

As for the character I CAN'T stand, it's Anveena Teague! She's a walking SUNWELL and SUE! GAH!
