Last day before the long weekend...
Apr. 5th, 2007 11:20 amAnd everyone is mental at the office.
Let's see, we picked a fight with a client-I-hate-and-oft-fight-with-but-can't-mention-here-for-legal-reasons again. My boss must have forced her to have a mental breakdown, because we haven't heard a peep from them since. Whoa, one just came in and it was BAD. This might need a locked entry with coded names, because the stupid is atsounding!
And a co-worker got me hot chocolate on his way in. Add to this a copy of a "Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS" poster being passed around (in honour of Grindhouse opening) and today is very "LAWLS" worthy.
I think it has to do with the snow. Coming in, it looked like a blizzard hit Burlington. It's SPRING! No snow! There should be no snow!
My VISA debt is now cleared! Yes! I still owe $130 on my Sears card and $340 to Terry (Genesis tickets), but things are looking up. The Sears debt would have been cleared this week, except that I suddenly had to renew my dog's license. That mucks up my plans a fair bit (as losing almost $100 to an unplanned problem does), but I should be clean by the end of the month or so.
Cooking on Easter Sunday is falling to me, because everyone likes my ham for some reason (that sounds dirty). I need to find a sugar-free glaze somewhere. At least I'm cooking in a fancy kitchen - because of scheduling problems, I'm cooking at my grandfather's condo which is in a nice area of Erin Mills. This might mean I'll be fairing better than my best friend, who's cooking her first turkey on Sunday. It's deformed!
