mbehemoth came over to our 3-D International House of Pancakes and we watched some of the easter eggs on the new Burning Crusade behind-the-scenes DVD.
Who here is familiar with machinima? It's basically where you film a short movie using a video game or a video game engine as the animation medium. There was even a TV series called Portal that was based around this idea.
On the DVD were the winning machinima from a convention in 2005, including a very strange and random film called "Zinwrath". I guess you can say it's about a warlock who attempts a summon that goes bad.... with a LOT of random things inbetween.
Little did we realise there's a sequel...
It's not high grade comedy by any means, but it is briefly amusing and a lot more enjoyable than many of these films usually are. I'm not sure if you'd call it a direct sequel, but it does expand on the ideas in the first little film with more of a plot. And that MC Raiders song kills me.
A third film is planned, but is behind schedule because of a massive computer crash. There has been a trailer released, though.
