Proof that the universe balances itself:

Yesterday I forgot to turn off my computer at work. The power was cut last night and my power source blew. At the same time, the main chillers for the air conditioning unit blew as well.

But, you see, my single office is on a stand-alone AC unit, since it's a computer lab. While the rest of the Centre had their computers running and blazing hot offices, I had no computer and a nice cool office. Funny, that.

Ohhhhh. That explains that odd street I claimed existed and yet no one believed me. Isn't it creepy?

And yet you refuse to admit that power usage caused most of East Hamilton to black out yesterday morning. Way to download rolling blackouts to the city with the highest rate of poverty in Ontario. They don't have AC units, so let them have at it! X(

Just demo the thing already. Look, it's beyond saving and they've demo'ed lots of other old buildings too. The best of it is that Lister already burned once and was rebuilt.

RACHIE HATE MEADOWLANDS. RACHIE SMASH! The Meadowlands are an excuse for people to move into Hamilton, live out along the 403 and avoid the rest of the city. They live in a self contained bubble with next to no transit, which means they must SUV commuters or something. Funny story, though: Part of the Meadowlands are built on a floodplain. Everyone building knew it was a floodplain, to the point where a backup floodplain was build. 'Course, the buyers weren't told this, trying to recreate something nature made perfect doesn't work and now are confused when the streets and basements flood every rainstorm.
