Mar. 7th, 2006 09:51 amI feel like the only college student that didn't get to sleep in today. Everyone is off on strike except for me, since I'm on a field placement and don't have to deal with picket lines. I can't call prof, though, since OMG! Strike means no contact!
Guh. I'm tempted to say "Screw it", but I can't take the day off. However, the province and teachers can piss up a rope for all care. This has been a problem since my first year, when we just missed a strike. Love goes out to the gang at the dorms, who seriously have to take this up the behind. They don't have food service at dinner now, most are tight on cash anyway and can't order out. The parents can't send mail because there's a chance that the postal workers won't cross picket lines. That, my friends, is getting screwed over.
Oh, and yes, Enrico Gruen is a Soultaker. Do not debate this fact or he'll play ringtoss with your soul.
