Mar. 2nd, 2006 11:40 amMy friend Lisa is going to be ecstatic.
I am something in mind to write here, but I've since forgotten it.
Meeeeh.... I feel bad for what happened last night. I was waiting for Steff to come back on and feel asleep on the couch. I woke up around 12:14 and we got some AU business done. Yeah. That was something. There's sections of this current storyline that would translate rather well into prose. There's two bits floating around at the moment for the online public, one by Steff and one by me. Both are at
color_i_fic.
Oh! Wait! Now I remember. The Fullmetal Alchemist movie is fairly stupid in the worst possible way, but somethings need to be seen to be believed, like this choice screencap:

The MST3K fan in me wants to yell out "I'm huge!"
For more of the stupid, I would like to kindly point out that the Fullmetal Alchemist series will be starting on YTV this Friday at ten. It's decent until about the halfway point, maybe to the start of the Devil's Nest arc if you want to push it. Episode 13 and 37 are probably the best; although they seem like filler, they are fairly closely taken from the comic. The second part of 37 is especially close to the original. They also have the original HUMOUR instead of replacing it with angst. What a novel concept!
I don't follow anime too much, but the Bionix block seems to be padding out nicely, for those who are into the sort of thing. Looking at the new line-up, I can't help but wonder: Who got Bleach? Someone has to be sitting on the license by now, given that the online hype for that series is snowballing like mad. My 17 year old sister, who is normally very picky of the series she watches, even has a Bleach icon on her MSN. o_O
