Oct. 20th, 2005 06:23 pmI'm becoming the popular little person around the dorms. Andrew, Kristie and I had a discussion about the state of media in the Thunder Bay area and they asked to see my Pop Culture essay after it gets marked. o_o
Andrea asked if I wanted to go out with some people from the dorm to Scuttlebutts this Saturday. Question to the floor for T-Bay locals: What's the word on Scuttlebutts? I generally refuse to go to places along the lines of Roxy's and Warp 9 and I don't want to end up in a situtation that's over my head. I'm mostly going to hang out and get to know some more people from res, not wanting to end up putting myself at risk for... anything.
Side note: I hate Coca-Cola a fair bit, but I find Coca-Cola with Lime yummy. I wouldn't be able to stand it on a regular basis, IE more than once very week or something, but I don't get totally turned off by the taste, unlike what happens with normal Coca-Cola. I still prefer root beer to it. And Areo bars with caramel are just strange.
Heh, I think tonight is going to be the only time in the next two weeks that I'll have time to get out and go shopping for food stuffs. I only have condiments in my fridge and easy mac and canned pasta in my cupboard. I can get by on that until November, but I really want hot chocolate mix, milk and sugar-stuffed cereal, or, failing that, a crate of cookies. Fweee. I'm so healthy.
