Found this beauty tonight:

What's so funny? It's a Ranma 1/2 fanfic with random Frantics content:

Meanwhile in Canada:

"Excuse me I'm looking for the Tendo Dojo."

"Sorry I don't know it. I'm a stranger in Saskatoon myself."

"This isn't Nerima, Japan?"

"No, this is Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm here to foil my archnemesis from seizing control of the world's rape seed market."

"I see. Uh, you do know you have an aluminum canoe on your head?"

"Yes. I was struck by lightning while portaging and it was wielded in place."

"That's too bad. Hey if this is Canada, am I speaking English or are you speaking Japanese?"

"Quiet you're distracting the reader."

"Reader?"

"Shut up, don't draw attention! They hate it when we let them know we know they're out there ..."

We apologize for this minor breach of the fourth wall. Containment procedures are in effect and the problem is under control. There is no need to panic.

"So Mr. Canoehead, we meet again!"

"Ultramind, so my arch enemy is behind the plague of atomic locusts ...is that a new hockey jacket?"

"Well yes the old one was getting a bit ratty so ..."

"But it had character! This one looks like something out a ..."

Ryoga decided to ignore the two weirdos and ask someone else for directions. He wandered into a nearby drycleaners.

"Good afternoon sir. Welcome to philosopher's drycleaners, the thinking man's martinizer."

"I'd like some directions please."

"Why?"

"Why?"

Not wishing to be sued by the Frantics for copyright infringement let's switch the scene back to Japan.

And I'd like to note that I am now strongly thinking about doing a low budget Mr. Canoehead for CCAC. Laura will most likely kill me for this. XP

Katers!

If you're looking for songs for your little soundtrack that we seem to work on every 4 or so months, check out "Hard Road" by Sam Roberts. I swear, I noted that song for a reason a few years back.

You look at the lyrics and tell me what you think. )

It freakin' figures that I'm able to write 6 pages of media related garbage in one night. I'm in awe.

Yet it takes a fair bit of effort to write business docs.

I'm also the only person who finds the song UHF still amusing in this day of satellite dishs and digital cable.
