First off, Word to Katers: You're right. Those image songs aren't that bad... SHUT UP! I know you told me to listen to them earlier. The 80s vibe runs strong in them, though.

I've mentioned bits and pieces of my Easter weekend to people, but some people wanted a total recap, so here we go...

On Friday, I found myself being going searching for Amanda's magical and hidden subway. This meant a trip on the bus out to Westfort. Turns out that the "subway" was just a path under some railroad tracks. The freaky part was that the neighborhood on the other side was just like north Hamilton. I know the locals claim it's the poor side of town, but that's like... home to me. I grew up in places like that and I don't see what the fuss is all about.

Anywho, I found a trail out the lake, but Amanda was tired so we didn't follow it. Instead, we walked back up, got some slurpies and took the bus back home. Amanda took a picture of me beside the Chilehead Chiles sign on May Street... but I look really ulgy(er) in it, so I'm not sharing.

On Saturday, Mandy and I went to anime club. FMA is entering the part of the military subplot that I thought was really dumb (it starts in 30, runs until 36 and opens one or two plotholes), but hey! We've got Greed, so it's a trade off. Plus Laura was amusing the crap outta me... with her comments on Roy in 32 ("Barbeque!") and our comments on the subber's choice Hohemheim's name "Light Hohemheim". I'm so lost when it comes to the other series right now, other than Bleach... since I'm kinda caught up on that.

Amanda came over later to spend night. We had to smuggle her into the dorm, since SOMEONE forgot to fill out a guest form. *glares at Mandy* We watched the new trailer for the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. The tech they're showing us in the trailer alone is enough to make me wet my pants. Curse me and my love of steampunk. But dang it... why so few appearences of the military in the trailers and promos?

After that, Manders and Amanda decided to watch the first whole season of the Gilmore Girls. In a day. Dragging me to watch some episodes with them. We ended up falling asleep in one big dogpile on Mander's bed (we don't have couches...) until Manders woke me up and told me to go to my own bed.

On Sunday, the two finished off the DVDs. We went to look at the dinner at the caf. Like the rest of the weekend, it was crap food. I really don't like ordering food in on Sundays, but Amanda suggested (twisted my arm) to order from THAT place. That pizza place that makes me go all fangirly.

So yes.... we ordered from Big G's Pizza. Here's the proof:

That sticker has been cut out and pinned to my wall, thank you very much. The pizza was actually pretty good too.

With the pizza came the MST3K episode The Touch of Satan. Now I feel like some CARNATION ICE CREAM. We also watched the Little Gold Statue Preview Special... but that's like my least favorite of the MST3K specials.

That was it. Such is Easter away at college. Oh, and much rice was eaten. Please... for the love of everything... don't ask. I'm out of soya sauce.

It's a sad, sad day when peanut butter KitKat bars... which own my soul, BTW.... have a "may contain peanuts" warning on the package. Geez... what part of "PEANUT butter" don't you understand?

One of these days I need to make a sign that reads "I was insane before it was cool". 'Cause, you know, I always was and still am very much crazy. I can't help it. It's how I remain functional in this sad excuse for a world. I act stupid because it's more fun than acting smart. But these young whippersnappers claiming to be insane to get attention and pity? A pox on thee!

Note: Do not take anything in this entry seriously... since I rarely do anyway.
