Mar. 11th, 2005 03:34 pmI suppose, that if you went back into time, about 5 years or so, and explained to high school me what my life would be like in 5 years, I doubt I would believe you.
Not just the whole "many people close to you and close to your friends are going to die" thing (although I'd assume that would be a shocker), but I just packed a full-sized camera tripod in my suitcase....

Let's reflect on this some more. Most college students pack booze/swimsuits/party supplies when spring break comes around. I made room for a tripod. And I have no problems with this and I happen to think it's kinda cool.
Sometimes... I do wonder if something really is wrong with me. And then I notice that the candy machine has peanut butter Kit Kat bars and all is right with the world again.
The bus ride won't be too bad. I went to Hill City and they had more Chrono Crusade FINALLY. I picked up 1 and 4, so I'm all caught up with the current English releases. So, I'm going to read through at least twice. Hmmm.... Not-Quite-Steampunky goodness. *drools*
Now the only two manga series I'm closely following that I need to catch up with are Planetes and Hellsing. I need Hellsing 5 and Planets 2 - 4 1/2. And then the Fullmetal Alchemist manga comes out and the combined force of the manga, novels and DVD releases drives me to become very poor.
Laura says I remind her of Conky the Robot from Pee Wee's Playhouse. I wish I could remember more of that series. I remember watching it a lot as a kid...
