I've got money!
Feb. 14th, 2005 12:17 pmHappy Valentines Day to those who are blissfully attached and an early Happy Half-Priced Candy Day to everyone who isn't (IE me).
Found out today that I got the EMI/Capitol/Vigin Music Canada Award. It's a bursary offered to Multimedia students and gives me $500. Yippee! That should float me for a few more months. I have the urge to by myself something extra at Hill City this week.
And I got a package for Valentines Day, probably from my family, but I can't pick up 1pm, which is when my classes start today. The office hates me, I swear. And Mondays. They also hate me. Everything I get something one a Monday I either find out 1) After my THREE-DEE class or 2) Can't pick if up until after THREE-DEE class. Oh well. Maybe I'll just grab it on my way out and open it in class. Hopefully Rich won't chew me out too much.
Oh, and Gimp kicks much ass for a free graphics editing software. It can't beat Photoshop for designing for print, but it works great for editing graphics for onscreen use.
