I found the soundtrack to the cartoon Downtown! *kicks air*

Am I the only who remembers that show... or even watched it? It was originally on MTV, but I think YTV aired it late at night back when I was in grade 11. I thought it was rather cool back in the day. I'd probably hate it now.

The soundtrack kicks major butt, though. It's hard to explain... like grunge meets techno meets... house? I can't remember the proper names and probably shouldn't be throwing around genre names. The soundtrack is very indie sounding though. Not something you'd here often on mainstream TV.

My favorite tracks are Rise of Sun (that WAS Downtown for me) and Super Deluxe (it's so upbeat but not).

The Hotnewmedia network is DOWN until further notice. Apparently we had a hardward issue. Crap.

I was hoping to work on Military Dogs today, IE uploading stuff. That's not happening.

Long story...

But last night we were playing around in our LJ RP. Our Edward titled a post "Damn the Colonel" and, in my silliness and insanity, I replied with a post titled "And Stop The Pigeon... Oops, wrong TV show".

"Stop the Pigeon" is, of course, from the theme to Dastardly & Mutley In Their Flying Machines, a Wacky Races spin-off.

I sent Katie a copy of the theme song today for a laugh and she returned with an evil idea:
Fullmetal Alchemist/Wacky Races crossover.

NOW... there have been at least two offical anime and Wacky Races crossover/fusion dealies; Scramble Wars and SD Gundam Crazy Race. The latter I saw at LUM and made me laugh to the point that I fell out of my chair and cried. I need a copy of it. ^^

For reason unknown to me, Wacky Races is fairly popular in Japan. So a FMA fusion wouldn't be too out there... IN THEORY. Heck, we have a huge country with roadways and railways and a massive cast of characters.

Lots of potential, although we have a fandom that takes things way too seriously. >_>
