I Solemnly Swear That I'm Up to No Good
Feb. 5th, 2005 02:19 pm... with Katie at least.
Our secret little gag project is clicking along semi-nicey. Kaite has been whipping through it at a record speed, although I've been stalemating a bit.
I know that part of my slacking is that I've been editing Kater's stuff for her, but it's also just hard for me to write semi-romantic fiction, even in parody and even if it's one-sided. And I never EVER want to touch Havoc/Fury without a 40 foot pole again. Parody or no, it hurts my brain too much. Yeah... yeah... I know I picked it to insult the pairing, but it's like impossible for me to make it work, being one of three big pairings that totally rub me the wrong way for various reasons.
At least Katie is getting a gas outta my parts, so they can't be THAT bad. She's going to love the opening I'm working on. She's always held onto the belief that two of my Subreality characters were more than "just friends" and while the opening doesn't state that in black and white (and I probably never will, so there), it could be read that there's something more going on there than meets the eye. Of course, it's all subjective... except that I KNOW how Katers will react to it. XD
