(no subject)

It bugs me somewhat that people have no idea how old I am.

I rant about this a lot and I have finally decided that I DO NOT AGE. PERIOD.

I was told this over the holidays. Someone I hadn't seen in years stopped dead in his tracks at church and commented that I hadn't changed since he last saw me, which was several years back.

Tonight (or yesterday, judging from the hour) one of the guys in charge of the floor heard Mandy and I talking about going to the LCBO. He freaked, because he thought I was underaged, 17 to be exact. I'm 21.

Can someone enlighten me as to the history of Thunder Bay's Giant Milk Carton?

While we're at it, big stuff kicks much butt

RA: *makes a comment about a magazine ad on the lounge wall*
Me: *replies with a quick theory on the state of magazines today*
RA: Who in this world talks like that? You sound like you've got a built-in encyclopedia.
Me: I'm a media student. That's all.

It's becoming harder and harder to find a place where I'm accepted as "normal". Dang, my future is going to be interesting.

One day I'll take over the Canadian media and then it will be a respectable thing to go off and study media.

But for now I just have the sudden urge to go swimming. Probably because there's several feet of snow on the ground.
