Jan. 26th, 2005 02:00 amCrest Complete is giving me the strangest aftertaste ever.
So is the soundtrack to the Broken Angel game. Thanks to Tas for pointing out where I could snag it online. I'm getting wild Rocket Knight Adventures, Sonic the Hedgehog, Chrono Trigger and Cowboy Bebop vibes from the music alone. Along with the claims of the wacky plot, I really want to play this game to see just how strange it really is.
I really like a couple of tracks. "Dusk of Wild" (I've seen it called "A Clear Evening in the Wilderness" too) is so nice but short. I want to know where that's used in the game. There's also a spiffy remix of the first ending theme.
Since I haven't posted a fanfic rec in a LONG time...

Yeah, it's Fullmetal Alchemst. Yeah, it's pointless humour. And yeah, the first two chapters are somewhat "meh", but the last two (thus far) amuse the crap out of me. Katers and I tried reading this during the holidays and we couldn't stop laughing. Well... we can't stop laughing at pointless things most of the time, but this is just the way we are.
