Best quote ever:
"Scar is like Gamera. Adults fear his power, but he is a friend to children."
Come on! Tell me that is not the greatest quote ever. That just screams crossover.
And, after lots of searching, I have found a Fullmetal Alchemist ficcy that I deem "slightly MiSTable":
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2098637/1/It's bad. The important parts get no detail, but we get random, run-on details like "Wandering over to the table that was rested nicely in front of a window where you could see the first of the horizon".
The Plot... and sweet heavens, I wish I was making this up:
There's a new attendant in the military with a decidely Japanese name. Despite that culture in Amestris is very European based, this doesn't seem to bother anyone. Anyway, she gives Jean Havoc (called "John" here) a few folders, which freaks the living crap outta. I'm going to assume from his reaction that it's the government's files on his love life.
Then there's some strange talk of symbols and formulas, but the writer decides not to clue the readers into any detail whatsoever. I'm lost and confused.
Hawkeye seems lost and confused too, so she breaks into "John"'s apartment to thin out the herd. Sadly, she forgot to stock up on bullets at the local S-Mart, so all she can do is poke him with the barrel of her pistol. We know who's pitching and catching in that relationship. After a brief few lines of hmmm... fanservice, the two head to work.
Shortly into the work day, the new attendent taunts "John" with a sandwich(WTF?). Turns out she's a Homunculus with a tattoo in plain slight that nobody noticed before(WTF?). Oh, and she can perform alchemy too(WTF?) and tries to change "John" into a Homunculus (WTF?). Also, Roy can see Armstrong's sparkles (Again, WTF?).
And it turns out that "John" has a sister with another non-European name and then my brain breaks and everyone lives happily ever after.
