AKA The Teddog really Does Do Stuff Outside of Fandom.

Yay! Tonight (or yesterday, judging from the time) was the day for the Multimedia Christmas party/gift exchange.

And it turns out it was being held at this strange house across the street from Lakehead University. I've always had wondered what that house was like inside. It's a lot stranger than I imagined. I can't explain how wild this place was. It was just uber cool. The oven! *dies*

I couldn't get a ride, so I ended up dragging my present up Balmoral Street. My present was a gift card to chapters taped to the inside bottom of a huge box filled with college newpapers. The person I had to buy for was Jaime. Jaime is a small person. Therefore oversized present = funny. She was greatly amused, as was everyone else.

Turns out Craig ended up with me for the gift exchange. He gave me volume 3 of Hellsing. Oddly enough, I was thinking of picking up that earlier, but couldn't find it at Hill City Comics during break. Craig was scared I didn't like it. I had to tell him three times that I thought it kicked butt, but that may have been because he was so drunk. He also told Jason that he loved him and the two rolled around in a display of... strangeness. Erin has this on video and it should be appearing on the public drive within the next week and pay-per-view within a month.

BTW, Craig menthoded that he didn't know what to buy me originally. May I correctly guess that a certain someone told him what series I'm currently reading through?

I also got random hugs from lots of people who rarely talk to me or are scared of me during school. Drunks scare me. o__O

And the best scene of the night:
Warren: *walks into the room dazed and holding an empty paper towel roll* Where's Tiff?
Everyone else: *blinks*
Warren: *looks at roll* I wanted to help her and this was all that was left!
Random person (Steve?): All that's left of Tiff is a tube?

I found that amusing.

I ended up leaving after the fozeball table got flooded with booze, which was shortly after midnight. The drunkiness was okay when it was limited to Jon demanding to open presents, but got a little much later on. I don't drink, but ended up covered in booze from Jaime, Jason, Tiff and Craig. Way to go guys. Now I smell like Mitchell. :P

On an ending note, drunk Dean is a scary Dean. He fought over Toronto radio stations with a student after only one drink. Yeah. I kinda started the fight, but didn't expect it to spin off like that.
