Dec. 5th, 2004 05:58 pmFinal total dues from anime club are $8.64. I'm getting faster at counting the money. ^_^
And Laura said that we may have the chance to see episode 13 of Fullmetal Alchemist before I leave. Otherwise, it'll be shown on the January 8th and I'll miss it. Not that it matters too much, but it is the episode that introduces Breda, Hayate and Fury and I'd like to see it on the big screen. After that one, I don't think Fury appears until episode 16-ish, in which case his appearence is very short, and, IIRC, very WRONG. I remember sitting there and thinking "Did he just look THERE?!?" and then giggling for about a solid five minutes. Non-roommate Amanda thought I was insane. And she then showed me a later episode that made me ball my eyes out. After which the "Rachelle the Nurse" jokes started. And everyone lived together in peace and happiness, until even later episodes came around and it got worse. All this happened on my birthday, BTW.
That was a strange story. Strange but true, which is the saddest fact of all. FMA is one of the few animes to get an emotional response outta me. XD
The manga is much better. The villians there are actually scary. They creepy me out, especially after what was said in the last chapter. Lemme at Wrath! I'll take him out myself! NO HURTY RACHELLE'S FAVORITE CHARACTERS!
The anime turns a lot of the villians into wimps. Awww... they're "misunderstood". How cute. *headdesk*
Oh, and I got 96% on my lesson on the American electoral process for Learning Theory. Apparently I have some magical skill that allows me to teach complex political ideas and make them fun. o_O
