In Ontario, there is a highway called 404. I'd like to call it the "Lost Highway of Ontario", but no one will get the joke.
I love the smell of McCain's Spicy Superfries. Yes, the so-called "food" product will kill you some day. Yes, there's something really wrong with the product and you can smell it several miles away. No, I don't think it's a popular smell by any means. I just like it. The world needs smell recorders.
And I FINALLY GOT MY G1! YAY! I've been putting it off forever because of lack of funds They wanted $100! That's crazy. But I now have my first licence! Now I can drive!
...As long as a licenced driver is in the car... and as long as it isn't between 12am and 5am... and I have to stay off 400 series highways... and a bunch of other rules. I hate the licencing program in Ontario.
Of course, I missed out on PoG this afternoon because of the stupid licencing place and because we have no free time. Hopefully, I'll catch the repeat tonight. Otherwise, I am screwed.
But I have a licence and a car. Mom's going to take me out tonight. I can't bring the car to Thunder Bay, so I need to learn during the summer and various holidays. I really want to go on the rural roads around the city and we just got a new road atlas for the golden horseshoe, so that's prefect! I'm a little scared of handling the escarpment right now. Some accesses are a little rough and others are basically vertical highways, not counting the 403.
Tomorrow we have to take a bunch of kids to camp. After everything that happened, I decided not to stay... but I get to come along for the drive because I'm the only one at can do heavy lifting and I can read a map. The camp is at Rock Point Provincial Park. For some reason, I keep thinking of it as "Rock Reef Point Provincial Park". If you've never watched The Red Green Show, you'll have no clue to what I'm talking about.
We have to take the long route on highways 6 and 3 through Jarvis, because mom won't let me find a short cut. Fine! Let's all forget about highway 54. -_-
